100 Days

This love of mine cannot be mistaken as my love for him is true.
Beyond the power, rule or might of the possible me or you,
This cannot be described as nor can any love.
Yet I will tell to all you we’re as peaceful as a white dove.
The bond between the two of us is so strong and so unique.
Yet the love we share, the originality is strongly what I seek.
He lives in the moment and never his mind strays,
Even just a moment, a grasp of fluffy mane.
It may just be a second, yet 100 days,
The feeling of a second, the loving of a few.
Yet he still stands beside me, love this is true.
You will never change us, we’ve grown too strong to part.
You will never take our friendship, there is nothing you can do.
His eyes are so amazing, they’re fierce and complicated,
Like a love which is a maze.
It’s only a second, a loving time for sure.
It may only be a moment, yet 100 days!
His beauty I admire, but that’s not all he is,
A lover and a fighter, he is my baby.
The only war he will fight in, is one that saves a life,
Yet fight for me, is never maybe.
He protects me from evil, as the light is so too bright,
He blocks the light away, he shades.
It was just a glimpse, a reach of his soft fur,
Yet does that feeling ever stay with me? Yes, 100 days!
My baby, I do guard him with my life and spirit too,
Yet he is my knight, I always know that forever, he will keep me safe.
If it means hurting me, he won’t give up the fight.
My Gully I adore him, his eyes are brown like haze,
This love lasting a second, to me 100 days!
This can’t go on forever, yet I will tell you once again,
This love is the best, it’s my place so safe.
I’d never let go of this, so grasping tighter I will not rest,
It seems so strange, yet tighter I hold,
Our hands from each other never stray.
It may just be a moment, a second or a few,
Yet to me it will always be 100 days!
Oh my word! I can not believe you’re only nine! you’re way beyond your years in writing! Awesome girl! Awesome poem I wish I could write poetry as well.
I entered 2 poems. One about racing and the other about my first ride. And if they get published ya’all will see they aren’t that great :-) But I still hope all the stuff I submitted will get published.
Again, awesome girl. It rhymed, I laughed, I cryed, it moved me Bob;-) (for all those veggietales lovers :-) lol)

Oh…my…gosh! Peanut that was amazing!!!!!! That was like…wow! I can’t even describe it!! U perfectly described the love between a horse and girl. Wow! That was soooooo good! Can’t believe you’re only 9! U write well beyond your years!!!!! I can’t write poems. I never think of things that rhyme, lol. But this was just…wow! Keep it up!

The bond you have with Gully is just so powerful that I could feel it through your words. All the time when reading your submissions I’m wondering how you could summon such strength. Reading this deeply humbles me, incredible writing!
