A Horse’s Mission

I would like to make a blog about how much we all love horses and how amazing they are. If you do own a horse, then you are very lucky. Remember to be thankful. Even if you don’t own a horse but you take lessons, you should be happy that you get to be with these amazing creatures at all. Make it count!
If you own a horse try to love it and enjoy it every moment you can. If you don’t own a horse, don’t mope around and be gloomy; try to get involved with horses as much as you can. I know everyone who rides must be so happy!
I am 8 and have been riding for 4 years. I started at a younger age than most, but ever since I had my first ride I knew that was where I would be for the rest of my life — in the saddle! Riding makes me feel confident, proud, and of course happy. It is the greatest gift to be able to have a bond with these amazing equine animals. If you really think about it, why would a strong powerful animal, such as a horse, let us human beings sit upon its back?
Horses are something different than us, something powerful, yet elegant. Strong as ever but graceful as a ballerina. Horses are sent from heaven on a mission: To make one thankful person happy. They don’t care if you are big or small, tall or wide — they are here to teach us a lesson. This lesson will give you hope and happiness, love and forgiveness. They teach you how to live life with a smile across your face; to wake up every morning and feel thankful for everything around you. And once they have done so, they go back to heaven and they will never be forgotten.
Horses are such amazing animals, so remember next time you see your well-loved horse give him or her a great big hug and a kiss and always be thankful because one day you will not have that special horse to talk to, to love and to be with.

OMG, Peanut, you are an AMAZING writer! When I was eight, I could not write even a quarter as well as you do. Now I’m thirteen, and I’m not sure I can write as well you. You are an INCREDIBLE writer. When you are older, I just might be checking out a book by you. I’ll be like, I used to blog with her! You write so well. Keep it up!
That last comment might have sounded a bit rude. I meant I really want to be a junior blogger and I was wondering how to become one.
Peanut, the Casting Call for Bloggers addresses your question (see the ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ section), and there’s also info on the February 6th GHC News for anyone interested in becoming a JB.
