A Painted Pony Friend: Meet Gabby

There is a little pony at my stables. A paint pony. She has a heart of gold. The cute little pony’s name is Gabby. She is always a joy to ride. Once you and a horse become friends, every ride becomes more fun than the one before.
Gabby is very special. When you trot to a jump, Gabby almost always canters out. When you canter her, she balances you. Gabby has an awesome canter that makes you feel like you are in a rocking chair. For a pony, Gabby can really jump high.
The adorable little pony doesn’t stand still for long. In group lessons, when you are waiting for your turn to jump Gabby will not stand still in line. She always wants to go, go, go! Gabby is twelve years old, but acts like she is only a little filly.
Every horse (or pony, in Gabby’s case) has some things special about them. First of all, Gabby is one of the whitish paints I have ever seen. Her coat looks like snow, and it is always easy to spot. Gabby also has a scar on her rump. No one knows when or how she got it, but it is a part of Gabby now. Everyone who looks at Gabby close enough always asks about the scar. One girl doesn’t like to think that poor Gabby ever hurt herself to get a scar, so she calls it ‘Gabby’s birthmark.’
Gabby will always have a special place in my heart, even when I am beyond her level. To me, Gabby will always be my little painted pony friend.

awww she’s so sweet! she sounds a bit like Gipsy from my stables, but she’s probably bigger (Gipsy’s 11hh, so cute!).

I do not know how tall Gabby is, but she isn’t quite as big as me. She is really small. :)

Awww! She’s so adorable! I used to ride a pony that was only merely 5 feet tall a week ago which is pathetic! lol
AAWW! I know a pony named Arnold who is like, ten HH, and he is adorable…
She is so x100 cute! She reminds me of a pony we use to have at my old stables. He was called Peanut though, but looked similar to Gabby! Say hi to Gabby for me! xx
