An Amazing Adventure

One day at Ovation Hall Training Centre, Annie (the owner of Gulliver) was tacking up to go on a trail ride with her friend Katie, who was tacking up her little chestnut pony, Muskoka. Her other two friends, Meghan and Liam, were tacking up Tasha and Hudson.

After they finished tacking up they set off to the shady forest. To them it was a pretty view, but it was going to be an adventure that they would never forget.

Suddenly, a pack of wolves emerged from behind a large tree. Wolves have an impressive talent for separating herds. They herded Muskoka and Gulliver over to a small tree. Meghan and Liam cantered away into the forest. The wolves knew Gulliver was the oldest horse, so he could not run as fast. Even if he did there was a chance of him slipping. They chose Muskoka because she was a little Shetland pony — she was a perfect target! Annie and Katie were the two smallest kids; the wolves made a good choice.

But the thing was, these two horses had big hearts, and the two girls believed in them. They pressed their heels into the two horses’ sides and took off at a gallop. The ran for many hours, and when the last wolf gave up, they walked back home. They tucked their horses into their stalls and went to sleep full of thoughts. They had learned an important lesson. Believe!
