Barn Buzz - January 3rd

Sorry for the slight lack of activity around our virtual barn. My “day job” is keeping me a bit busy, but I will always make time for Girls Horse Club and perhaps one day it will be my sole focus (it’s already a soul focus). :)
In the meantime, here’s a little barn buzz for anyone who’s listening…
First, I received my copy of Equestrian Challenge for the Playstation 2! I’ll write a post about it soon, but will say that so far it’s MUCH better than Horsez. In the first few hours I created my horse and rider, and passed the first level of training for jumping, Dressage, and cross country. As you may recall, in the first few hours of Horsez I accomplished, well, nothing. So stay tuned for more info about Equestrian Challenge, and hopefully a lively discussion with other players. Another piece of exciting news. I recently posted a review of the newest CD from Templeton Thompson, singer/songwriter extraordinaire who often performs from the back of a horse. I was so impressed I asked her to do an interview for Girls Horse Club and she said YES! But this won’t be just any interview, it will be an Interactive View. I’ll start by posting a bit of background, then open it up to participation — Templeton will respond directly to *your* questions. That’s so much more exciting than having me ask the questions, right?
