Beauty and Difference

Very few things in this world are truly beautiful, and we are all different. I can find a dozen faults with my brother’s car, but he doesn’t seem to care. He sees no fault so long as it works. Well, that’s what I think.

arabian.gifI cannot find a huge fault with a horse, so long as it’s cared for. Arabians are one of the best examples (I think) of equine beauty. Arabs, we all know, are beautiful horses with good endurance. If I happen to see an Arab I’d probably go, “Wow. Oh wow!”

Connemaras are also beautiful, although in a different way. Shetlands are cheeky and cute. Thoroughbreds are proud, and I can’t blame them really!

fresian.gifBut as I’ve said, we’re all different. I think the most beautiful horse in the world is a Friesian, with the wavy mane and jet black coat.

A running horse, free in a buttercup-filled meadow, is beautiful. A waterfall is beautiful, and perhaps even an exploding volcano is beautiful. They are all beautiful in their own ways, and all different.

buttercups.gifSo next time you see a horse with a dull coat who seems to do nothing but eat, don’t think “What is that greedy thing?!!” See the beauty underneath. And when some teenager showing off, driving his new car around in circles, don’t shout “lunatic” at him. He’s proud of his new car, even if he’s wasting time.

We are all different, and all beautiful, in our own ways.

    Animalsrkool, this is a wonderful blog. I think some of the most beautiful horse breeds are the Gypsy Vanner and the Andaulsian. But every horse is unique and had beauty in differnet ways.
