I meant in one of my sentences I wrote: “I think God was giving me a chance to fulfill my dream of *owning* a horse, by letting me discover them at the age most girls lose interest”

I’ve always liked other stuff. But, the difference between us I think is that, those things I like have always been second-best to horses.

Don’t worry. There is more of you than horses. That can be a big part of your life, still, and yet you can also have other interests and not be afraid.

I used to be obsessed too with horses, that’s toned down now. I mean I still am horsecrazy, but there’s other interests I’ve discovered I have. Like writing for instance. I never knew I loved it till I came here, but now I know.

I feel that way sometimes too. I used to be completely obsessed, it was weird. I’m still quite obsessed with horses, maybe more than I should at my age, but I’m interested in other things, too. I didn’t start riding until I was a bit older, I was 10 and most horse crazy girls are norally very young which is why I’m still quite obsessed!

I discovered horses only last year. I think God was giving me a chance to fulfill my dream of loving horses by letting me “discover” them at the age most girls lost interest..Now, they are my life. I love all animals equally, but they are by far the most amazing to me…

I was so obsessed when I was younger! I was just plain creepy! All I wanted to talk about was horses, and sometimes, (this one’s embarrassing) I would even neigh. I’ve grown up a lot since then, and although I love horses, they aren’t the only thing I’m interested in.

I had stopped paying attention to horses for a while, because I was going through the different problems that come with “teenager”. But now, it’s revived again, thanks to special friends (coughcoughRachel DaniellecoughcoughPonyTales), and I’m not about to give it up again, even if I’m not able to ride right now. Just remember to keep your most important dreams alive, and everything will be okay, God Willing.

mustang23, don’t worry about it. I went through a faze like that and didn’t ride half of what I usaly do and almost grudgingly the times I did; then that fall the flame suddanly exploded and my passion for these animals has never been higher.
So it might not last long at all.
I like the message you gave at the end of your blogs to show other girls that it is ok to explore other interests.
