Hey! I just wanted to thank everyone for publishing my story: Mystery Mustang!! I hope everyone who read it enjoyed it! I enjoyed writing it! Anyways, just wanted to say: This site rocks!!
What’s a blog and what do you do here?
Yes for blogging!
According to Wikipedia, a weblog, which is usually shortened to blog, is a type of website where entries are made (like in a journal or diary). A typical blog combines text, images, and links related to its topic.
For now, anyone can participate in the blog by commenting on postings — similar to a discussion forum. Depending on interest, we have plans to open it up so members can create blog entries. Stay tuned!
Blogs are fun ;)!!
YAY! I WANT MY OWN BLOG ON THIS AWESOME SITE!! WOOOOOOOOOT! :D :D :D
Yes! I just completed Mystery Mustang II and now I’m waiting for LeadMare to put in the next 7 parts!! YAY! I love this site!
This is great and I really love the site… and horses!
i think this website is very good and i shall think about visiting u and the horses soon ok thanks for inviting me to that website
When are you going to finish Lone Star’s story? I’ve read all of their stories and I’m excited about reading Lone Star’s, but it’s taking forever!
You’re right, the Lone Star story has been “coming soon” for a loooooong time. We just haven’t had anyone to write it! Maybe we should have a contest in the Book Club?
I think a Lone Star story contest is a great idea! I’ll even send in a submition if I remember.
Yes! Yes! I’d really like to enter that contest!!
Hi, It’s me again! Umm, I’d just like to apologize for my greedieness (Is that even a word?) I see I’ve hogged up ALOT of room with my Mystery Mustang stories, and I’m sorry. This site is really cool! But I’m wondering if I’m hogging up to much space in the Book Club? Would it be okay if I submitted another series to the Book Club, or would that be to much space wasted? ‘Cuz I’ve got another Mystery Mustang story on the way!!
Veronica — It’s very nice of you to ask, but no need to worry. Space that’s taken up by a good story is *never* wasted space. Stories get posted as they come in, so if someone else submits a good story yours will eventually get bumped off the main list. Can’t wait to read the next story in your Mystery Mustang series!
Hey I dont really know how to figure out how to do this.
I think it is so cute how Lone Star’s name has Lone from her mamma’s name, and Star from her pappa’s name. And I looked at her pedigree and I noticed that throughout all the generations, they foals have names from their mamma’s and pappa’s.
Genna, see comment #4 above.
Hi, Leadmare
I need help. I submitted a story, so how come no one else can read it? How long until someone rates it? Or something like sees if its “Top material” because I worked really hard and it’s really good.
Help
Genna, your story *Flashes in the Meadow~A Poem* is posted in the Loft Book Club, Fantasy section:
http://www.girlshorseclub.com/book_club/
Soon we’ll add info to the FAQ that tells how you go from having stories posted in the Loft to becoming a blogger.
oh i see it, Thanks. EVERYONE READ *Flashes in the Meadow~A Poem* please! It took me an hour to write. It’s under fantasy.
Thanks Leadmare.
LeadMare, you have created a wonderful service to the young horse-lovers on the web!
Thank-you!
Wow, Genna!! That’s a really good poem!! Especially considering you’re only 11! Some of it didn’t rhym, but I’d rate it 8/10. Keep up the good work and don’t stop writing!!!!
Are you going to have the Lone Star writing comeptition?? I can’t wait to start writing!!
Genna, poems don’t have to rhyme, but the best poems have rhythm or patterns — like a song. Check out Wikipedia for lots of info about poetry and common rhyming patterns.

Veronica, thanks for all your contributions to the Book Club (you’re a really good writer!) and your interest in becoming a blogger. And, thanks for being patient with your LeadMare as she puts the pieces in place to add more bloggers! :)
Thankyou so much!! I never thought my writing was good. :D:D:D

Shauna, you can always email questions through the contact link below. If others are interested I will blog about the history/making of GirlsHorseClub.com.
Hey!! Came in for a peek!! First off… I would love to hear about the history/making of girlshorseclub!! So you have my yes for that idea!! Second off… I have taken a break from writing Mystery Mustang stories, but I think I’ll start again…
If Sundancer, Shahar, Lone Star and the other are fake horses… how did you create them? Did you take a picture of another horse and re-color it? Or start it from scratch? What PC program did you use?? Yes, I am a geeky, want-to-know-it-all girl (;
girls horse club is the best club!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i just signed up and already think it’s one of the best clubs ever!!! and i think that horse creater thing, Perfect Horse, is cool to.
