Blog Carnival May 23rd — Join the Fun!

We’re tidying-up around our virtual barn in preparation for hosting the next Horse Lovers Blog Carnival on May 23rd! Here are the details.
THEME — First Impressions. Share the story of your first memory of a horse (this could include a fictional horse from a book, a movie, your imagination, or your dreams) or your first meeting with a horse who has touched your life.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE — May 22nd by 5:00 pm PST.
HOW TO SUBMIT — If you have your own blog, simply click here and fill out the form. You are welcome to participate even if you don’t have a post that fits the theme. Just put your post under the General category.

According to Wikipedia, a Blog Carnival is a type of blog event. It is similar to a magazine, in that it is dedicated to a particular topic and is published on a regular schedule, often weekly or monthly. Each edition of a blog carnival is in the form of a blog article that contains links to other blog articles on the particular topic. There are many variations, but typically, someone who wants to organize a carnival posts details of the theme or topic to their blog, and asks readers to submit relevant articles for inclusion in an upcoming edition. The host then collects links to these submissions, edits and annotates them (often in very creative ways), and publishes the resulting round-up to his or her blog.
