Christmas Horses

Lately I’ve been thinking about Christmas… alot! I was singing some Christmas songs and realized there are some with horses. For example:
- Jingle Bells: “Dashing through the snow in a one *horse* open sleigh…”
- Jingle Bell Rock: “Giddy up jingle *horse* pick up your feet…”
And I was listening to Christmas stories and found some relatives of horses in the stories. For example, in the baby Jesus story a donkey carries Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem.
Horses are very important to Christmas. If you want to ride in a sleigh, horses are pretty important if you want the sleigh to go anywhere. And we all know there’s no place that’s better to be on Christmas Eve than in a barn snuggling up with a pony. And what would Santa do if no little girl wished for a pony under the tree? Horses are a big part of Christmas!
If you know any more holiday songs or stories with horses, please share them in the comments.

I have a great idea- if you’re going caroling ride your horse! He’ll enjoy it too, he’ll probably get an apple or carrot!
Yay it got published! Not my best, but hey, it has horses in it! ;) Hope someone else knows a chistmas horse story!
Very interesting Horsecrazzz! Yay horses! Also, Jesus was born in a “stable”, so I guess that’s related as well. And riding your horse on a carol sounds awesome!
Well,I’m not sure about horses, but has anyone heard the song “Dominek the Donkey” ?
Nice blog, my fellow horse girl! Christmas would truly not be the same without horses.
Hey! Guess what? The horse’s name in Jingle Bells is Bob!
