Looking for something to do this Christmas that’s both fun and festive? Try dressing your favorite horse in a Christmas costume! It’s funnest to make it yourself. Here is a list of ideas to get you and your horse into the Christmas Spirit.
SANTA CLAUS. You will need either A LOT of red cloth, or a red horse blanket. You then need some little black boots (preferably with gold buckles!) nd of course, a Santa hat!
SANTA’S ELF. You will need either alot of green cloth, or a green horse blanket. Add a few jungle bells to your horse’s green boots and an Elf hat, and your all set!
A REIN-HORSE. If your horse is brown you’ve got it covered. If not you will need a brown horse blanket (or cloth) then get a pair of antlers and a red nose and your horse is ready to fly.
A SNOW-HORSE. Take a carrot and fasten it to your horse’s mouth… Nope, that won’t work. Never mind! Let’s just skip this one.
A CHRISTMAS TREE. Take a green horse blanket or cloth and put it on your horse (you don’t have to have the blanket) then take a lot of Christmas lights, wrap your horse and plug it… Nope never mind, that won’t do (DO NOT try that at home — I was only kidding). Instead, take a “star” and fasten (with elastic) to the top of your horse’s head. Pin some multicolored spots to the cloth/blanket and presto-chango — you’ve got yourself a tree with legs!
How many other costumes can you come up with? Any ideas?
