Horse Dreams

Riding through the fields
Laughing in the wind
Rushing through the woods
It feels like a dream

Training in the sun
Jumping at the start
Believe as it comes
This is not a dream

It may feel like one though
But may I
and the horse lead you through
Your dreams
And this time
They’re not make believe

    Oh, beautiful! This poem has a wonderfully dreamy feel to it, (absolutely no pun intended), and it reminds me of the precious but few and far between times I’ve had amongst horses.
