Heart of My Heart

Love so strong
Fierce as the sea
Unbreakable bond
is what you mean to me.

Hearts joined together
In love and song
Though we won’t be forever
Love will carry on.

Four legs or two
We don’t look the same
But inside we do
Our hearts share a name.

Everything I say
You understand!
Each and every day
You make it grand!

Heart of my heart
Our passions the same
When time makes us part
We’ll be together again!

May the horses be with you, in all you do!

PS. I love how this site just brings all of us together…at my school, i only know of one other girl that likes horses…and she’s not really that…knowledgeable. But here, at GHC, we all come together to share our heart’s love. Our hearts love is horses, and that’ll always be true, no matter what age, gender, size, etc. we all are. I love how much this site has grown…thanks and a round of applause to LeadMare and all of the girls here at GHC. :-)

  8. Amazingly beautiful poem! I love the “heart of my heart” line. I love it that, whatever you do and no matter how much you hurt, horses always understand. I can’t imagine a world without horses… God must have known how much we needed them. :]
