Is the Int*l Horse Contest Lame?

Perhaps there’s room from improvement if we do another contest with prizes in the future. For one, I will avoid launching something right when school starts — duh! Also, it might be better to keep the theme very simple. And maybe the prizes could be more exciting? I’ll want your feedback on this. Feel free to comment now (click on the Comments link at the top of this post) or after the contest is done.
But for those of you who have entered or plan to enter, I’ve decided that *all* eligible entries will go into the Judge for Yourself contest — we won’t be narrowing the list, even if we get a gazillion entries between now and the end of September. As long as you follow the contest rules you’ll have a chance to win the prize. So get all your friends lined up to vote, and remember you can vote up to once per day.
In the meantime, check out the three entries we have. Two are in the Mystery & Adventure section, one in the Fiction section. The one in the Fiction section is very original.
