my tears blur the porch lights,
it’s like i can’t see anymore,
i’m relying on my senses now,
i feel the texture of their coat,
i breathe it in,
it’s okay,
it’s all right,
now i know it’s just fine,
i’m gonna be okay,
that’s what they have to say.
