Almost every girl has a dream. For some girls, their dream is to be a movie star. Some dream of getting a pet dog, and some girls dream of riding horses. That is what I dream of — horses. Not always riding horses, just being by their side, and spending time with such wonderful and caring animals.

I have always loved animals very much! I began life as a simple dog lover, until I discovered horses. I still love dogs, but I also love horses, even more! As soon as I discovered horses, I wanted to ride. Luckily, I got my wish and began to ride at my local stables.

Then I learned to ride Western. The first day, the trot seemed very fast. The horses seemed so tall and really bumpy. But I still loved riding them. And even though I wasn’t good, I still came back every single week, ready to ride a new horse or do something new!

After I mastered Western I went on to English. By now I could canter and do swift, steady turns. As soon as I did English, I became focused on one thing: Jumping. So by my second English lesson, I was jumping small jumps, and while I was learning to ride, at the same time I was learning to fly.

Now every time I ride I fly. I soar over the jumps on a perfect horse, with a giant grin on my face. I love jumping, riding, flying. It is now a true part of who I am. I am me, a horse person. Is that who you are?

The western saddle is a little bit more bumpy and roomy, unlike the English saddle. Maybe you should try western. It is just as much fun as English.
