Life of a Champion

Leap!

Have you ever wondered about how fantastic it would be to be a top horse rider? Maybe you want to be famous for winning blues or leading the winner’s march. Those wishes are common among horse girls who dream about their unlimited potential. Trying to act or live like a champion isn’t what it is all about though, and I am going to take you on a journey into the life of a champion.

Being one of the best isn’t always fame and glory–you’ve got a lot to live up to. If you make a simple mistake, it would be headlines for the press. There’s always lots of pressure, and with so many encouragements and fans, you’re bound to want to do your best. And when you don’t, then it’s depression time for you. However, it’s essential to learn that, like what inspired many blogs here at GHC, winning isn’t everything.

Of course, there would be hours of training each day, and many horses to ride. Lots of work would be needed to keep you at the top, and fatigue would be a common feeling in your daily routine.

But inside, elite riders are just ordinary horse lovers who have large ideas for their high prospective at riding. They are one of us; horse-crazed and keen, overly determined and thus, turned into a lifelong champion.

Despite the differences in trotting over poles and leaping over gigantic fences, the gap between our normal levels and theirs isn’t wide, and with enough determination and hard work, the leap would merely be a skip.

Happy Leap Day from GirlsHorseClub.com
