My Horse is mine,
And she will be ’til the day she dies,
Because when I look in her eyes,
I think she really sees me,
For me,
She doesn’t see the person we continually paste across face,
She doesn’t see the perky personality,
That isn’t really true,
She sees you.
She sees the tracks of tears that run down your face,
She sees your feelings are of inferiority,
Your feelings of disgrace,
She doesn’t see the person you put on in front of everyone,
Even when you feel so pathetic,
Even when you look in the mirror and secretly feel sick,
She sees you.
Even when broken and sad,
She sees you.

A Truly inspirational poem! Amazing! I felt myslef melting into the love and devoation of your horse. if horses see us for who we really are then I wonder why they would be so amazing towards us. They must know we sometimes get very angry and out of control and that sometimes we do things we shouldn’t or say something to someone we regret. They must realize we arn’t as completly forgiving and full of love as they are! And yet…yet they love us….

How I wish I could write as beautifully as you when I was 11! I never thought the meaning of this poem could be represented in words, it’s hard to understand a horse’s mind so well and have the ability to deposit the magic in a few phrases. Your pictures go with everything perfectly as well, very nice photography! Your voice has great power.
