It makes me want to scream my heart out, makes me want to fight for what we love and need to protect: the horses. This poem is moving, truly brings tears to my eyes. My tears are of joy, actually. I am so happy that we horse girls and women can stand up and fight for what we love. Yes, it will take work. Yes, it will take time. And yes, we will have to stick it out. But in the end, I have a gut feeling that we will, somehow, win this fight. Even if we don't win the mustangs their freedom back, we can win in another way: we can know that we tried our best, and that we can keep fighting even after the fight is over. We are strong, girls. We have cowgirl grit in our blood,.... and therefore we have to use our strength to fight for what we loveand believe in. We can do this, but not alone. As said in this poem, our domestic equine friends will love and support us all the way. Besides, we simply CAN'T do this alone... at least, not without each other. This poem is truly an inspiration.
