My Horse’s Songs

I find it fun to relate our relationship with our horses to a boy-girl relationship so I thought this would be a fun blog. Like, for example, songs that remind us of something about the relationship. For my old horse Vegas that we had to sell, I use a break up song and try to relate it to what happened with me and Vegas. It’s funny to see how much they relate.
My songs for Vegas: Fighter, by Christina Aguilera (because he made me that much stronger) and White Horse by Taylor Swift
My song for Roxy: You Found Me, by Kelly Clarkson (because she found me)
And for Lady: Hate How Much I Love You, by Rhianna (no, I am just kidding) (:

And for the Friesian across the road “You Belong With ME!” by Taylor Swift(can you tell I’m a fan?) I mean they don’t do anything with him AT ALL!! He’s sooo bored… I’d better stop before I get worked up.:I But it makes me so mad! Stop it Salina! *Mentally kicks self* …Oi.
I don’t have a horse, but one of my favorite songs is “Halo”, by Beyonce. And “Heaven Sent”, by Keysha Cole. I can put both of these songs into a horse thing. Like you can see the horse’s halo, because they’re an angel. And “heaven sent” is like the horse was sent from heaven (which they are!)
Ummm…well I haven’t seen her in forever but for Sassy, DEFINATELY Hot and Cold by Katie Perry.
my horse is hot n cold too! you change your mind like a girl changes clothes…… that song always gets stuck in my head!
I LOVE White Horse by Taylor Swift and it makes me think of a mare I once loved. This is a fun blog! Another song that related to me and my horse Lightning is Tim Mcgraw by Taylor Swift because I would always sing him this song by Tim Mcgraw and his ears would relax and he would listen to me. Then he’d try to eat my hair.

Halo is my favourite song at the moment, I think it’s the perfect song for me and Mouse. I used to be scared of her (she bucks) but now I love her! I don’t know about Glory, I’ll have to think!
Ginger this was a really good blog idea. I’ve always related songs about boy girl relationships with my horsey relationships. I didn’t think anyone else did though! Oh and I’maCowgirl, I’m a big Taylor Swift fan too. Her songs all have meaning and I used to sing them while riding.And I know what you mean by looking at horses and thinking, YOU BELONG WITH ME! That’s how I felt about this beautiful golden Morgan with mane black as night and coat gold as sunrise… and she was hardly ridden once a year! Again, REALLY fun blog GInger!

Underdog, by the Jonas Brothers, is the theme for me, and Get off of My Back, by Bryan Adams, for Seneca, a really nice but stubborn mare, and on and on for all the horses I’ve rode…
