You have taught me so much through your blogs and inspired me so much with your poetry. It seems I can’t stop reading till they finish. You are a true and great horse lover, talented and kind, and like a paddock buddy though I don’t know you in real life. I want to thank you for letting us horse girls know the truth about slaughter, and the wonders of Appaloosas and Przewalski Horses. You taught me that “It’s not the rider with the ribbon of blue that wins, but the person with the heart of gold”. You have made me think more insightfully about poetry, in a way I could never have imagined before, giving me a priceless lesson for my future writing. Your blog about realizing dreams gave me the hope and knowledge that wishes can come true if I start believing. That blog helped me last the remaining time before I started taking lessons.

Generally, you have contributed so much to the blog, and you are a person I look up to. It’s terrible to have Girls Horse Club’s first Junior Blogger leave. But I wish you good luck with everything and hope that you will always have happy riding! I will be one of many that will miss you.

Best Whinnies,

Madelaina

  1. Oh Julia, who do you have to leave? Your poetry was beautiful; it whispered in the ears of all horses lovers, and will stay with them forever.
Good luck in all you do! ;)

  2. Madelaina, you’ve inspired me so much, and to have you say all those wonderful things about my work means more to me then you will ever know. Your artwork is beautiful! I wonder how you knew I LOVE appaloosas? ;)
Thanks again so much. Please remember though, that this is not goodbye. It’s simply a see you later. I promise I’ll read every single one of your future blogs which are bound to be fantastic. See you later! :-h

  3. Thanks Julia, it’s just as great to hear from you as well either through a story, poem, blog or comment. None of your words are unmeaningful or flawed. And what I’m feeling about this situation is too complicated to describe in words. You’re right, this isn’t really goodbye, so I guess that’s a good thing. It is a see you later for Julia. But a goodbye for a great Junior Blogger.

P.S. I read that Appaloosas are your favourite breed in your Appaloosa blog. :D Just proves every single detail matters. Once again good luck for high school! I just started as well, five weeks ago. Don’t be nervous, put a smile on your face, and go for it!

  4. i’m still soo shocked that you are having to step down from Jr. Blogger and evrything! :( I really wish you the absoulute BEST in the future!
