Out For a Ride

The clip clop on the tarmac drive,
The buzzing of bees from the bee hive,
The roar of the engines as they zoom past,
The horses are scared because they go too fast.
The pitter patter of rain on the ground,
The sound of hooves as we canter around,
The birds sing and cheep,
The car horns beep,
The horses start to run away,
Maybe we’ll go riding another day.

I love that poem. It talks about a formal ride on the side of the road well beautifully describing your surroundings. It sort of makes me want to start singing. =0) Champion job

That was a wonderful poem! It really expressed the sounds of the horse world!
This poem made me smile Sweetie.
