Quirks

Oh prancing filly,
Can’t you see,
You are so silly,
It’s unsure what you are to be.
Oh nervous colt,
Weren’t you told,
It isn’t right to bolt,
Just try to be bold.
Oh stubborn mare,
Don’t you know,
While you don’t care,
You should really forward go.
Oh tempestuous stallion,
Don’t you care,
Through this rebellion,
The people better prepare.
But my dear quirky horses,
Whether stallion or mare or filly or colt,
Pulling wagons or running race courses,
To my heart you are stuck with nut and bolt.
