Smokey!

I’m Smokey, a lovable 12.2hh mare
I’m grey and young, and I really don’t care
I belong to Georgia, live with other horses
There’s Miller and Bertie and Skittle and me
I get riddean by Georgia or her mum
I don’t mind what I do — it’s really quite fun
It’s bouncy and wobbly and wriggly for some
I don’t mind the weight, so on they come
I can be ridden with lead rein or without
When people ride me, they never pout
They smile and giggle and laugh so hard
They might fall off, I hope they don’t hit the ground hard
When my owners walk around, I’m so loyal I follow them
Maybe I’ll get a carrot, or a delicious bit of hay
Yum-yum! Hurray!
I got both today!
So this is me, Smokey the pony
And don’t get me wrong, I’m not a phoney
Really I’m as real as you
This is me, Smokey the sweetie, BOO!
