Thanksgiving With Horses

Thanksgiving is a time of thanks and I know all the girls visiting this blog are thankful for horses more than almost anything else in their life.
I am thankful for my friend’s sweet horse Flex, who inspired me to fall in love with horses. I am thankful for Gus, the most spirited horse I have ever known. For stables and stalls worldwide, I give thanks. For the miniature guide horses helping someone to be more capable, I am grateful. For the “unwanted” horses and those destined for the slaughterhouse, I send a thanksgiving prayer. I am thankful for the horse galloping in my dreams whose name I haven’t yet chosen. The mountain paths and the open plains- anywhere a horse abides- I am thankful for that, also. For the horses I am privileged to know and those I wish I could, I am thankful. I wish well to the snapping, kicking horse no one seems to love.
