The Gift of Horses

Whenever I see a horse, I take in a breath and admire their beauty and grace. Whenever people ride a horse, they borrow freedom. Whenever I am mounted on one of these amazing creatures, I am taken over by a feeling of happiness that can turn a bad day into one of the best days of my life. Horses have given me a gift, one which I will never forget.
Horses are my friends. If something goes wrong and I am upset, they are my shoulder to cry on. If I’ve had a big fight with my friend, somehow horses make me see the other side of things and give me the strength to work it out and move on. I can tell them all my secrets and problems and can trust them not to tell anyone else. They don’t talk bad about me behind my back, and they don’t keep secrets from me. Who could ask for a better friend?
Horses have given me friendship. In the horse world, I have met many other girls who share the same passion and love for horses that I do. We have had lots of fun together, and best of all, I get to talk about my favorite subject of all. You guessed it, horses!
Since I have started riding, I feel that horses have made me a better person. I strive to be more like them — honest, caring, friendly, and kind. Try as I might, I will never be as loving as them, although I can try. Whenever I say something mean or make a mistake, I always think of horses and try to do better the next time I am in that situation.
Horses are the most amazing creatures I know of. They have given me so much, and I am blessed by that. Horses are the best friends I have ever had, and always will be.

Great job Stargazer! Horses love anyone who loves them back and they love unconditionally. If people were more like horses the world could be a more…loving place.
