The Lifelong Duty

At least once in each horse lovers life we will experience the death of a loved one. I don’t know about you, but I sometimes wonder why horses don’t live that long. To me the answer is:
Us humans know too much, we take many things for granted. Horses already understand that every moment with their friends is special. Horses, and every other animal, are here to teach us a lesson. They teach us the true meaning of life, to smile lots, to laugh often, and to live, love, and learn along the way. When a horse moves on, their job here is done.
Just lately a horse at my barn died of colic. He was only seven or so but he brought a laugh to anyone who walked by! I hope you understand that when a horse leaves he is going to a happy place, and at last becomes a unicorn.

Good Job monkey. Horses do teach us.
They sure do because they teach us about responsibility, friendship, and caring good blog!
