The Phantom

He travels across the land like a fish at sea.
He taunts the other horses with his independence
As he races past their freedom, stealing fences.
He is the magical stallion told about in stories and legends,
When he is actually reality.
He is the mysterious horse that can be seen,
But may not be touched.
He dives over logs and leaps over streams.
Nothing is impossible for him!
He hides his herd safely away in secret valleys,
Where not one piece of grass has been trampled by a human foot.
Nobody knows the age of him, for he seems to be forever.
No one is capable of taming his wild heart,
Because he is the Phantom.
Wow! Thats a perfect description of The Phantom from Mrs. Terri Farley’s book series. champion job!

What is this poem about? Call me a little blond (in the brain. No offense to girls who have actual blond hair. I myself am a redhead :-D But am blond in the brain at times) But I don’t really know what it is.
But it is so moving. It proves you’re an amazing poet when you can move someone with a poem that the person doesn’t even know what its about. It is absolute no offense to you December Rain. It’s just me. But I am actually complimenting you. Ok I’m going to stop now before I say something totally confusing.
Brilliant. One of my favorites of the day. Though all have been amazing!!! Mine is up next. Its a short poem that I hope ya’all like! :-D
It does seem like some horses last forever. In hearts though they are no longer there! Whoa inspiration! :-D I have to go write a poem now. Again amazing poem DR!!! :-D :-)

Like HorseFeathers said, it’s pretty much based off of the series (The Phantom Stallion) by Terri Farley (I’m not sure if you’ve ever read them). But that’s really all I can say for what it is, sorry :)
