War horse
Oh war horse
Your power and strength
Your love and your faith
Your movements of grace
War horse
Oh war horse
They surely owe you
No thank you or please on the battlefield
War horse
Oh war horse
Please do stay safe
What did you do to deserve such a place?
One day I do promise
You will be free
War horse
Oh war horse
You’ve fought you last fight
War horse
Oh war horse
Walk toward the light
War horse
Oh grand war horse
Your soul shan’t be forgotten
War horse
Oh war horse
You no longer must look at the fight
No longer hear the last cries
No longer do anything
War horse
Oh war horse
Please do rest in peace
You were brave
You were valiant
But now you are free
In honor of Veteran’s Day in the U.S., we salute the war horses and their humans who have ridden into battle and sacrificed their lives throughout history. While we hope for a world without war, we’re grateful for the two and four-legged warriors who fought for our freedoms.

My Daddy’s a veteran. He was in the Air force in the 80s. (before I was born :-) ) There’s a funny story to that. If ya’all want to hear it. Tell me. Because I don’t just want to tell you if you don’t care :-)
‘Course my daddy didn’t work with horses ;-) Just airplanes!! :-)
Great job!! Check mine out on the 14th called Great Jumper.
Love it!!!! :-)
id love to hear ur dad’s story Jonannah, and i just reliezed you have the same name as my mom xD
Whats your mom’s name? Is it Joannah? Because thats what mine is. My parents just added and H to the usual Joanna :-)
Here’s my dads story. So my dad was in the air force and was married to my mom and had only one kid so far. My mom said she would never EVER go to New Mexico. But when my dad got his assignments it was for England. And my parents didn’t want to go overseas. So my dad traded his assignments with someone else. Can you guess where they went? . . . . New Mexico! :-) So that is where they went and my older brother was born there.
They eventually got back to Minnesota of course. With a detour of Kentucky for my dad’s pastoring. (Kentucky was where I was born) Sorry I’ll stop before I tell you the story of my life :-) But I hope you enjoyed the funny story. They did come out OK after being in NM :-)
But now my dad is no longer a pastor nor does he work with planes. Crazy isn’t it :-) lol
lol, my moms mom is german so shes named after her grandma (my great grandma) ill have to get her to spell it for me, all i know is its prononced Joe-hanna like the names Joe and Hannah combined.
