Why Do You Ride?

What do all of you girls ride for? The ribbons at the horse show? To impress someone you know? All of your “friends” think you should? Or do you do it because you love to. And do it because you love horses and love being around them. I do it because I love horses. I go to my barn sometimes on Saturday morning at 7 am. A lot of the girls there think I am crazy. They say…

'What is wrong with her?' 'Who knows. I love horses but not that much.'

I just do it to help out and to be around horses. It’s fun to help feed and groom them. I don’t know about your stables but at mine something exciting always happens! We all ride for something and I think that the girls here at GHC do it because they love being around horses like me!

So think about it what do you ride for?

    How can I critique such a beautiful blog? It’s wonderful for your first try! I think riding is nothing to be ashamed of, it’s what each of us love, and that’s all that matters. Teasing and snickering is nothing and false, and we should never take them into thoughts. I ride because I love to learn and I love horses. It’s also the most exciting and valuable sport I’ve ever experienced, and it is probably the best thing ever to share your time with horses. :D

    Great blog =]
    I ride because its a passion for horses and a great sport, it doesnt look it but it really gets you working, as well as the horse. Just cos yr sat down doesnt mean it cant be a sport, eh? Too bad typing isnt a sport xD
