Wooden Masterpiece

Horses are all different. Some are big, some are small, some are short, some are tall, some are real, some are made of, well… wood!
I know what you are thinking. “There aren’t wood horses!” Well I beg to differ. Of course wood horses don’t neigh or move that far, but they do exist. Still guessing? I am talking about my giant rocking horse. Her name is Gypsy, and to me she has just as much life as a real horse. Wanna hear more?
A long, long time ago my dad started working on a giant wooden horse. Gypsy is about 5 hands tall plus the rockers. It took more than ten years to make the body, and she still isn’t completely finished! To me Gypsy is a part of the family. She even has bridles, a western saddle, and brown cow pollos!
For her mane, forelock, and tail we are planning to use real horse hair. She is going to be dark brown with a dark mane and tail, just like a bay pony!
By the way, no, she is not for sale!

WOW that is great!
what a great story! proud of you!
