You and Your Horse

You wake up, eat breakfast, then rush out the door to the sweet smelling old red barn. The sun shines through the windows, beating down on the soft horse printed soil. You rush to her stall knowing she will be waiting there, anxious to see you. You unlock the gate to her stall; seeing her beautiful face softens your heart. You kiss her on the her soft, fuzzy peach nose, then you put her worn leather tack and saddle on and lead her out of the stall.
Slowly you walk towards the barn door to the outside fenced riding area. As you walk you can hear her hooves clopping on the soft soil and her tail swishing and swashing, back and forth. Once you are outside in the riding area, you mount up on top of her and start to walk, then trot, then go into a canter. As you ride you feel the warm sun beating down on your back and see the mane on her neck fly up from the breeze of her canter. You feel happy there, riding on her brown fuzzy back, bobbing up and down in a constant motion. You never want to get off.
Soon you and she get tired and, you dismount. You lead her to the stable and give her a fresh red apple. You kiss her again on her fuzzy peach nose that smells of fresh apple and say, “See you tomorrow.”
