If you’re an active member of Girls Horse Club, you know a lot of heart and soul goes into creating our blogs and photo illustrations. We only use images we’ve photographed/created ourselves or have obtained/purchased the right to use. Many of our photo illustrations start from the work of professional photographers. We value their talent enough to pay for it, which is why we discourage unauthorized use by others.
That said, a big part of our mission is to nurture creativity so this page is where you can find free images. These are the Girls Horse Club images we have the rights to distribute for any non-commercial purpose like spiffing-up your personal web site/blog, or perhaps as inspiration for your own story or school paper. If you use any of the work below, we’d greatly appreciate a link back to us (but we’ll leave that choice to you).
More images will be added over time (newest ones at the top). Scroll down for a variety of images, click any image to read the blog where it first appeared, or click here for Girls Horse Club banners and linking code. Enjoy!
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Right click (or hold down the ‘ctrl’ key and click) on the image to bring up an options menu.
- To save the image to your local computer, select the option something like ‘Save Image As’.
- To paste the images location into a web page, select the option something like ‘Copy Image Location’ then go to your web page and paste the URL into the appropriate place.

The older looking pictures with the rope around them are the ones I like the most.
They remind me of some of the pictures out of some old books I liked when I was younger.
