Ground Rules
WELCOME to the Girls Horse Club blog. We hope you enjoy all the content written by and for young (and not-so-young) horse girls. Blog comments are moderated to assure a safe, friendly environment. If you want to see your comments published, here are the ground rules for participation:
- Choose your words. We have visitors of all ages from all over the world who want to read what you have to say. Please keep them on topic (related to the blog you’re commenting on), meaningful, constructive, and/or positive.
- Treat others as you would like to be treated. Duh!
- Be safe. We’ll remove or edit public comments and posts that include an email address, links, or personal information. We may allow links to personal web sites at the discretion of Girls Horse Club.
- Express yourself. Feel comfortable offering praise *and* constructive criticism. We care what you think and like to hear suggestions for how we can improve.
- Be yourself. You don’t have to use your real name, but don’t pretend to be more than one person and comment under multiple names (we can usually tell if this is happening).
- No SPAM. Don’t use Girls Horse Club as a place to advertise or promote a commercial web site, product, or service. We LOVE meeting like-minded people and will gladly consider reciprocal links or sponsorships. Just ask (we won’t bite).
- Don’t sneak up on a horse from behind. OK, so that doesn’t really apply to the blog — but it’s still an important ground rule!
Maybe you’ve had good experiences and bad experiences in other online forums. If you have thoughts about how to make this a GREAT experience, please contact us.
